A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 1st June 2026 in the Jubilee Room of the village hall.

| EE have sent a letter for £270 in unpaid charges – The Parish Council cancelled the direct debit when we reached the end of the contract and so is not payable. The Clerk will contact EE to explain the situation. | |

a) To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club improvement progress

b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the heater in the village hall kitchen
Awaiting a further quote
c) To receive an update and take any necessary action regarding Sheepwash Hill, including details of a donation received from the village jumble sale
A donation of £800 was received from the village jumble sale team to earmark as reserves for the cycle track.
d) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the installation of a flag pole in the village
Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to obtain quotes for a flagpole within the village. Cllr Keetley will obtain quotes and possible site locations for the next meeting,

To receive an update regarding sustainability within the village |
| Cllrs Mrs Forrester and Ms Guest met with a resident regarding the new sensory garden in the play area on Honeyholes Lane. Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to accept a quote from Restoring Eden to assist with the design and planting of the sensory garden. A budget of £350 was set for this part of the project. | |

New inserts are required for the metal bins.

b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the mini roundabout near to the Dunholme Coop Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to contact Highways to request the mini roundabout be repainted onto the road and better signage is put in the area. |

Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to decline the offers put to the Parish Council. It will also requested that all formal communications are made through the Parish Clerk and not individual Councillors. |
