To Dunholme Parish Councillor

You are hereby summoned to attend a Meeting of Dunholme Parish Council which will be held on Monday 11th May 2026 at 7:30pm in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.

At the start of the meeting there will be a 15-minute public forum, where residents can ask questions or give statements to the Council.

AGENDA

1.  To elect a Chairman of the Parish Council and sign the declaration of acceptance

2.  To elect a Vice Chairman of the Parish Council and sign the declaration of acceptance

3.  Chairman’s remarks

4.  To receive apologies and reasons for absence

5.  Disclosure of pecuniary interests

6.  Notes of the meeting held on Monday 13th April 2026 to be approved and signed as minutes

7.  To elect representatives to the following working groups:-

  • Human Resources
  • Dunholme District Indoor Bowls Club
  • Village Hall
  • Village Maintenance
  • Christmas event working group
  • Sheepwash Hill Project
  • Play areas
  • Sustainability

8. Accounts and Finance

     a) To approve the current financial statement to 30.04.2026

     b) To approve the payment of accounts – See list

9.  Parish Council Building and Assets:-

    a) To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club improvement progress.

    b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the heater in the village hall kitchen.

    c) To receive an update and take any necessary action regarding future projects and community engagement at Sheepwash Hill.

   d) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the installation of a gate at Sheepwash Hill site.

10. To discuss and make any comments on planning applications received:-

WL/2026/00374 – 14 Chadwick Road - Planning application for the construction of 2 storey side extension to existing dwelling – discuss and submit any comments to WLDC.

11. To receive an update regarding sustainability within the village.

12. Village Maintenance

      To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village

13.  To agree to close the meeting to press and public to discuss confidential matters.

14.  To receive an update on the DDIBC and take any necessary action.
