December 2024 Minutes
A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 2nd December 2024 in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.
Present: Cllrs A Pache (Chair), P Cutter, Mrs C Forrester and Ms S Keetley

24/12/01 Chairman's remarks
Welcome to the meeting. Many thanks were given to Cllr Ms Keetley for arranging the Christmas
Market and everyone else who turned up on the day to help set up the event.
24/12/02 To receive apologies and reasons for absence
Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to accept apologies and
reasons for absence from Cllr Seal and Ms Guest.
24/12/03 Disclosure of pecuniary interests
None
24/12/04 Notes of the meeting held on Monday 4th November 2024 to be approved and signed as minutes
Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to approve the notes
of the last meeting as a true record of events.
24/12/05 Accounts and Finance
a) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding applying for a PWLB loan and take the
necessary actions
The Clerk has been advised by LALC that the completed application form and supporting
documentation need to be submitted to them for forwarding onto the relevant body for main
Government approval.
Part of the supporting documentation is proof of consultation with the residents. The Clerk will
undertake the consultation over the next month ready to submit the application early in the new
year.
All other supporting documents are ready to be submitted.
b) To approve the payment of accounts

24/12/06 Parish Council Building and Assets:-
a) To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress
A funding application has been submitted to WLDC for future works required to forward the
project.
b) To receive and decide upon quotes for the maintenance of the DDIBC fire doors
Further maintenance is being investigated into.

c) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the purchase of a silhouette figure for the
War Memorial
Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to purchase a silhouette figure for
the war memorial. A budget of £400 was set for the purchase and installation of the figure.
24/12/07 To discuss and submit comments to WLDC regarding planning applications received:-
- WL/2024/0097 – 18 Brook House, Market Rasen Road - Planning Application to render dwelling –
No comments to submit
- WL/2024/00954 – 90 Lincoln Road - Outline planning application to erect 1no. dwelling - all
matters reserved – No comments to submit
- WL/2024/00923 – Jubilee Farm House, 74 Lincoln Road - Planning Application for Refurbishment
of existing residential property with new extensions – No comments to submit
24/12/08 To receive an update regarding promoting sustainability within the village
Cllr Ms Guest reported the below:-
- Our application for 3 hedging packs from the Woodland Trust was successful.
- £60 has been raised this year (since April) on behalf of St Chad's Primary School from the collection
of printer cartridges.
- In January, for one month only, there will be a collection point in the Village Hall for postage stamps
(on behalf of Bransby Horses) and old Christmas cards.

a) To receive an update regarding the movement of the Parish Council website

b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the purchase of a new printer/scanner
for the Clerk

24/12/10 Village Maintenance
To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village
- Cherry tree on the Granthams has died – Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Cutter and
agreed by all to accept a quote for £250 from Arborez to have the tree cut down for safety reasons.
- Improvements to the path along Oak Wood have been completed.
24/12/11 To resolve to close the meeting to press and public to discuss confidential contract matters
24/12/12 To receive and decide upon the grass cutting and village maintenance tenders for 2025-26
Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to accept the tender quotes
from Future Farming Limited.
