A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 3rd March 2025 in the Jubilee Room of Dunholme Village Hall.

25/03/07 Parish Council Building and Assets:-
               a)       To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress
                           The funding that was applied for from WLDC for planning and surveys has been
                           accepted this is for £8506.
                           The acceptance paperwork has been returned to WLDC for payment.
                           Once the money has been received the architects and surveyors will be instructed to
                           undertake the necessary work.
               b)       To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the installation of water meters
                         around the village hall site
                           Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to set a
                           budget of £600 for the purchase and installation of 3 water meters and a container
                           for storage.
25/03/08          To discuss and submit comments to WLDC regarding planning applications received:-
                            None received
25/03/09          To receive an update regarding promoting sustainability within the village
                            The hedging has been received and the tree wraps have been received – it is hoped
                            that these will be planted in the next couple of weeks.
                            It was suggested that an Autumn bulb planting session take place to add extra
                            daffodils and snow drops to the village.
                            It was agreed to start the planning and organising of the Village sensory garden
                            in the Honeyholes Lane play area.
25/03/10         Administration:-
             a)       To receive an update regarding the movement of the Parish Council website
                       -  The documents have started to be transferred from the old website onto the new website.
                          The Clerk will send over the minutes from March 2023 to date to Cllr Ms Guest to upload.
                      -   2 years of minutes and agendas will be kept on the website at any one time.
                      -   5 years of finance details will be kept on the website at any one time (Including AGARs etc)
            b)       To discuss and take any necessary action regarding Councillor training
Councillors were reminded to look at the LALC training courses available and let the
Clerk know if they would like booking onto any courses.
           c)        To discuss and take any necessary action regarding extending the matting at the 
                     Honeyholes Lane Play area
Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to obtain quotes
to extend the matting on the play area on Honeyholes Lane.
Cllr Mrs Forrester will contact the contractor to request advice on the extra matting and
the grinding noise on the cup spinner.
          d)        To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the cutting back of trees and hedges
                     along the A46
                        This has been updated on FixMyStreet as being looked at the work to be undertaken
                         when possible.
         e)        To approve the review of the below policies:-

25/03/11       Village Maintenance
         a)         To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around
                      the village
Buy a bin for the Honeyholes Lane play area.
25/03/12       To agree the date of the Annual Parish Meeting in April 2025
