A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 3rd June 2024 in the Jubilee Room of the village hall.

24/06/01     Chairman’s remarks
                      Welcomed David Tapper onto the Parish Council.
                      The weed spraying of the village has been excessive and will not happen to this extent in the future. 
 
24/06/02      To receive apologies and reasons for absence
                        None received
 
24/06/03      Disclosure of pecuniary interests
                        Cllr Seal declared an interest in agenda item 24/06/06a as a member of the St Chads PCC.
 
24/06/04      Notes of the meeting held on Monday 6th May 2024 to be approved and signed as minutes
                       Proposed Cllr Cutter, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to approve the notes of the
                       last meeting and sign as a true record.             
 
24/06/05     To elect representatives to the following working groups:-
                       Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to nominate the
                       following representatives into working groups:-
 
                        -         Human Resources – Cllrs Cutter and Mrs Forrester
                        -         Dunholme District Indoor Bowls Club – Cllr Ms Keetley

24/06/06      Accounts and Finance
                       a)  To receive and decide upon an application for a grant from St Chads Church towards their
                            grass cutting costs
                            Proposed Cllr Cutter, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to donate £750 to St Chads PCC
                            towards their grass cutting costs.  This was agreed under section 137.
 
                      b)   To approve the payment of accounts

24/06/07     Parish Council Building and Assets:-
 
                      a.  To receive an update on the proposed new play area on Honeyholes Lane, including
                           funding for the project
                           Further funding will be looked into.
                           Cllr Mrs Forrester will contact the play area contractor to see what availability there is for the ear
                           marked reserves held by the council.
 
                     b.  To receive and decide upon quotes for the Parish Council annual insurance cover
                          Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Seal and agreed by all to agree to a 3 year long term
                          agreement at an annual cost of £2882.20.
 
                     c. To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress, including a proposal to compile
                          and circulate a Community Survey for the future use of the area and buildings
                          Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to approve the Community
                          Survey for publication and circulation.  A quote of £510 for the printing of the surveys was agreed
                         by all.  A budget of £120 was agreed to purchase 2 roller banners.
 
24/06/08    To receive and update regarding the purchase of a storage unit for Parish Council assets
                     The Parish Council are awaiting confirmation of delivery of the unit.
 
24/06/09    To receive an update regarding promoting recycling within the village, including a proposal to site a
                      clothing bank in the Village Hall Car Park
                      Cllr Ms Guest updated the Council on the success of the recycling currently being undertaken in
                      the village.
                      Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to site a clothes bank in the far corner
                     of the village hall car park from Astco.  The money raised from this will be repaid to the Parish Council
                      and earmarked for future projects.
 
24/06/10    Village Maintenance
 
                     a)  To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village
                           Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to undertake the following actions:-
                     -     Play area maintenance as detailed by Welton PC to be looked at – most are under action already.
                     -     War memorial needs some maintenance – The Clerk will investigate who is able to undertake
                            the necessary maintenance.
 
24/06/11    To agree to close the meeting to Press and Public
                     Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to close the meeting to press
                     and public to discuss confidential matters relating to the DDIBC lease.
 
24/06/12    To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the DDIBC lease
                     The lease is currently at the solicitors to be reviewed.
 
24/06/13    To note External Audit Submission meeting – Monday 24th June 2024 at 5.30pm
