A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 7th October 2024 in the Jubilee Room of the village hall.

24/10/01      Chairman’s remarks 
                        Welcome and many thanks to the Councillors who have had any input to getting the new play area
                        installed.  It has received some brilliant feedback. 
 
24/10/02       To receive apologies and reasons for absence

24/10/04      Notes of the meeting held on Monday 9th September 2024 to be approved and signed as minutes 
                       Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to approve the minutes of the last
                       meeting as a true record of events. 
 
24/10/05      Accounts and Finance 
                       a) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the 2025-26 proposed projects for the
                           draft budget 
Requested details from Councillors to be sent to the Clerk by 18th October 2024.

24/10/06      Parish Council Building and Assets:- 

                       a) To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress 
                           A meeting has taken place with Grant White regarding possible funding opportunities for different
                           aspects of the projects. 

24/10/07      To discuss and submit comments to WLDC regarding planning applications received:- 

                       WL/2024/00740 – Majalis, Scothern Road - Planning application to remove existing bungalow and
                       erect 1no. 1 & 1/2 storey dwelling – No comments to make. 
 
24/10/08      To receive an update regarding promoting sustainability within the village 
                       No update to minute 
 
24/10/09      To discuss the “Lincolnshire Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Transformation” scheme
                        - (NHS)working with "Bridge "a community organisation 
                      There hasn’t been a lot of uptake of the initiative – this will be reviewed at next months meeting. 
 
24/10/10      To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the 2024 Christmas events, including the
                       purchase of a village Christmas tree 
                      Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to undertake the below:- 
                            -   23rd November 2024, 1-4, tree lighting 6.30 carols and 7pm lighting 
                            -   Parish Council stall is available 
                            -   The Clerk / Chairman will order the Christmas tree – the same size etc as last year. 
                            -   The Clerk will organise the live advent calendar and best decorated house once again. 
 
24/10/11      Village Maintenance 
                      a)  To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around
                            the village 
                            -  Warning sign to Scothern Lane from Lincoln – the hazard warning sign has been knocked down. 
                            -  A bin will be purchased for the new seat area o  Mainwaring Close. 
                            -  A new insert will be purchased for the bin at the church bridge area. 
                      b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the placement of benches and bins in the
                            village, including the purchase of a picnic bench for the new play area 
  Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Seal and agreed by all to accept a quote from AKO
  Maintenance for £1000 to install these 2 benches and 2 other benches within the village.  
  The Council decided not to purchase a picnic bench for the play area at this time – different
  options will be discussed towards next spring/summer. 
  A bin will be purchased for the new play area. 
                      c) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the dog waste dispensers situated around
                          the village 
                          No further action to be taken at present. 
 
24/10/12        To agree to close the meeting to Press and Public 
Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to close the meeting to the
                           press and public to discuss confidential matters. 
  
24/10/13        To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the DDIBC lease 
No further action to be taken at present. 
 
24/10/14        To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the purchase of land on Market Rasen Road 
Proposed Cllr Seal, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to purchase the land on Market Rasen
RoadAn amount has been agreed between Blankney Estates and the Parish Council. 
Funding avenues will be looked into asap so as not to stall the purchase – the Clerk will undertake
the necessary paperwork to seek the Secretary of State’s approval for the proposed borrowing 
A PWLB loan will be applied for, for £60,000 over a period of 10 years at a variable rate to be repaid
on a 6 monthly basis.
 24/10/15       To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the renewal of the village hall lease 
                    The lease is bring revised – no action is currently required.
