A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 6th May 2024 in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall. 

Present: Cllr A Pache (Chair), Mrs Forrester, Ms Guest, Ms Keetley and K Plowman.

24/05/01      To elect a Chairman of the Parish Council and sign the declaration of acceptance

                       Welcome, thank you for the confidence in another term as Chairman. 
 
24/05/04     To receive and decide upon applications for co-option onto the Parish Council 
                       Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Plowman and agreed by all to co-opt David Tapper
                       onto the Parish Council. 
 
24/05/05     To receive apologies and reasons for absence 
                      Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to accept apologies
                      and reasons for absence from Cllrs Seal and Cutter.

24/05/12      Parish Council Building and Assets:- 

                    a) To receive an update on the proposed new play area on Honeyholes Lane, including funding for
                         the project 
                         A local resident has set up an online petition for proof of resident want behind the project. 
                         The Clerk will contact Tesco to apply for funding. 
                         It was agreed to apply for further funding but for half the cost and the Parish Council will match
                         fund. 
 
                   b) To receive and decide upon quotes for the Parish Council annual insurance cover 
                        The Council are awaiting further quotes. Proposed Cllr Plowman, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and
                        agreed by all that once all quotes have been received The Clerk, Chair and Vice Chair will decide
                        on the best company for the village. 
 
                    c) To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress 
                        The Parish Council are looking into circulating a form for residents for their views on the building
                        layout. 
 
24/05/13     To receive and update regarding the purchase of a storage unit for Parish Council assets 
                      The Parish Council are awaiting better weather to enable the storage unit to be moved into place
                      on the field.   
 
24/05/14     To approve the Review of Dunholme Neighbourhood Plan for submission to WLDC 
                     Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to approve the
                     Neighbourhood Plan for submission to WLDC. 
 
24/05/15     To receive an update regarding promoting recycling within the village 
                     Cllr Ms Guest is to draw up a feasibility study with regards to installing a clothes bank in the village
                     hall area. 
 
24/05/16    Village Maintenance 
                   a) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village 
                       -    Dunholme News – don’t spray weed killer outside of property boundary 
                       -    Village litter pick 
                       -    Planter signs – agreed £90.45 for 2 sponsorship signs 
                       -    Oak Wood – AKO take away the mess and flatten and quote for footpath 
                       -    Four Seasons Close Clerk to ask Arborez to look at the overgrown hedges 
 
24/05/17    To agree to close the meeting to Press and Public 
                     Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to close the meeting to press and
                     public to discuss the DDIBC lease.  
 
24/05/18   To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the DDIBC lease 
             The DDIBC have replied to the Parish Councils proposed lease – this will now be sent to a solicitor
             to finalise.
