December 2025 Minutes

A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 1st December 2025 in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.

Present:                     Cllr A Pache (Chair), P Cutter, Mrs C Forrester, Ms J Guest and Ms S Keetley

25/12/01       Chairman’s remarks

Thanks were given for all the hard work put into the Christmas market, tree lighting event and the lighting of the village hall.  The market was once again very well attended.

25/12/02       To receive apologies and reasons for absence

Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to accept apologies and reasons for absence from Cllr Firth

25/12/03       Disclosure of pecuniary interests

                          Cllr Pache disclosed an interest in agenda item 25/12/06a as Chairman of the Council.

25/12/04       Notes of the meeting held on Mon 3rd November 2025 to be approved and signed as minutes

                          Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all.                          

25/12/05       Notes of the meeting held on Mon 21st November 2025 to be approved and signed as minutes

                          Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all

25/12/06      Accounts and Finance

                   a)  To approve payment of the Chairman annual allowance

 Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to pay £200 chairman’s allowance for 2025/26.No receipts will be requested.

19:42               Cllr Pache returned to the meeting

                   b)  To approve the current financial statement

Proposed Cllr Cutter, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to approve the current finalnical statement for November 2025. The bank account total is £222,279.14

                   c)  To approve the payment of accounts

Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to make the following payments:-

25/12/07      Parish Council Building and Assets:-

                a)  To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club improvement progress

 The Parish Council are waiting for advice if trees and hedging can be planted within the village (rather than other parts of the UK) as part of the bio diversity criteria for the planning of the new structure.

                a)  To approve and sign the reviewed Dunholme Indoor Bowls Club lease review

 Proposed Cllr Mrs Forrester, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to sign the reviewed Dunholme Indoor Bowls Club. 

                c)   To discuss and take any necessary action regarding a proposal for a Padel Court at the rear of the village hall 

Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all not to agree to a proposal for padel courts in the village as there is no benefit to the village and the lease terms proposed are not viable for the Parish Council.

25/12/08    To discuss and make any comments on planning applications received:-

                      None received

25/12/09    To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the annual Christmas events

                     Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to note the below:-

  • The date for 2026 is 21st November 2026 – marketing for this will be discussed in August 2026 to ensure the promotion of the events.
  •  An amount of £205 was raised from stall holders and will be donated to Buddies Dementia Care.  Cosy corner raised £111 which will be put back into the initiative to purchase items going forwards.      

25/12/10   To receive an update regarding sustainability within the village

  •   Cllr Ms Guest gave the following update:-
  •   Nettleham Parish Council have taken several packs of blister packs to recycle.
  •   The orchard at the rear of has been approved in principle – pending confirmation of no service pipes in the vicinity.
  •   The Clerk will contact the school regarding the name of the Orchard competition.
  •   A mini litter pick took place on Honeyholes Lane and Lincoln Road.               

25/12/11     Village Maintenance

        a)   To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed around the village

  • The DDIBC have reported a leak in the ceiling.  It was agreed by all to ask AKO Maintenance if they can investigate into where the stain is coming from.  A  budget of £500 was set for maintenance to the roof if necessary.
  • Proposed Cllr Pache, seconded Cllr Mrs Forrester and agreed by all to accept a quote from AKO Maintenance to:-
    •  Repair gates on Manor Way green space for £1700
    •  Slab paths on Honeyholes Lane car park for £678
    • Allwood Road Playarea, sleeve service gate for £60
  • The Clerk will chase up the maintenance required to the gates from Manor Way to A46 with Highways
  • Ryland Road verges (Honeyholes Lane, past the primary school) are looking unmaintained and churned up by people parking on the verges – The Clerk will contact Highways regarding a solution, together with the tree and triangle at the end of Honeyholes Lane.
  • Grit bins may need refilling.
  • New poo bin needs installing at the of Honeyholes Lane
  • New bin needs installing at the church as the bottom has rusted away
