A meeting of Dunholme Parish Council took place on Monday 30th June 2025 in the Jubilee Room of the Village Hall.

25/06/14 Chairman’s remarks
Cllr Pache welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked the member of the public for attending.
The Neighbourhood Plan referendum is due to take place on 24th July 2025 and this
needs to be advertised as much as possible.
25/06/15 To receive apologies and reasons for absence
Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to accept apologies and
reasons for absence from Cllr Mrs Forrester.
25/06/16 Disclosure of pecuniary interests
None declared
25/06/17 Notes of the meeting held on Monday 2nd June 2025 to be approved and signed as minutes
Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Frith and agreed by all to approve the minutes
of the meeting held on 2nd June 2025 as a true record of events.
25/06/18 To approve the review of the Risk Assessment
Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all to approve the
reviewed risk assessment.
25/06/19 Accounts and Finance
a) To approve and sign the 2024-25 Annual Governance Statements for submission to the
External Auditor
Proposed Cllr Cutter, seconded Cllr Frith and agreed by all to approve and sign the
Annual Governance Statements for 2024-25 for submission to the Auditor.
b) To approve and sign the 2024-25 Annual Accounting Statements for submission to the
External Auditor
Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Frith and agreed by all to approve and sign the
Annual Accounting Statements for 2024-25 for submission to the auditor.
c) To note the dates of Rights of Public Notice
Noted the rights of public notice for the 2024-25 annual audit as 30th June 2025 to 8th
August 2025.
d) To receive an update on the funding application for a PWLB loan for the purchase of land
off Market Rasen Road
A further request had been made for additional information – the Clerk has responded
to this request with the required documentation.
e) To approve the payment of accounts

25/06/20 Parish Council Building and Assets:-
a) To receive an update on the village hall and Bowls Club progress, including to approve
to undertake a Bio Diversity Gain survey
Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to approve a quote
for £1329 with Arbtech to undertake a Bio Diversity Gain survey as part of the planning
application for the improved village hall site.
b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the potential provision of tennis
padel courts in the village
A proposal has been made to accommodate some new tennis padel courts in the village.
This will be discussed at a future meeting once the proposal has been circulated to
Councillors.
25/06/21 To discuss and take any necessary action regarding the Neighbourhood Plan referendum
on 24th July 2025
1000 A5 leaflets are to be printed to advertise the referendum. Proposed Cllr Ms
Keetley, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all to set a budget of £200 for this.
25/06/22 To discuss and make any comments on planning applications received:-
WL/2025/00292 – 1 Monckton Way – Amended plans and amended proposal
description – No comments to make.
WL/2025/00552 – Land East of Mickleholme Farm – Application for hedgerow removal
notice to remove 10m of hedgerow – No comments to make.
25/06/23 To receive an update regarding sustainability within the village.
Applied for the additional hedging to replace the hedging that was lost this year.
The Parish Council are going to promote and advertise the Bees’ Needs Week.
£161.05 has been raised though recycling ink cartridges for St Chads Primary School.
A community litter pick is hoping to be arranged for September 2025 time.
25/06/24 To discuss the Dunholme Solar Farm and take any necessary action
Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley an agreed by all to contact the
developer with the below comments:-
- The name needs to be changed to show where the solar panel farm is actually
proposed to be sited, which is not within the Dunholme boundary.
- The house prices in the area will be effected by this.
- Potential damage to infrastructure when connecting the cable from Nettleham
to Scothern.
The Clerk will contact Scothern Parish Council to see what their stance is on the
proposal.
25/06/25 To receive an email from Nettleham Parish Council regarding joining a Group Traffic and
Speeding group and take any necessary action
Proposed Cllr Ms Guest, seconded Cllr Ms Keetley and agreed by all that Cllrs Pache,
Frith and Cutter would like to attend the first meeting.
25/06/26 To agree on representatives to attend the LALC Summer Conference
Proposed Cllr Cutter, seconded Cllr Ms Guest and agreed by all for Cllrs Ms Keetley and
Firth to attend the LALC Summer Conference.
25/06/27 To receive an update regarding the purchase of a mobile phone contract
A new sim is on order and hoped to be received shortly.
25/06/28 Village Maintenance
a) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding village maintenance needed
around the village
None noted
b) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding fallen tress in the Kennington
Close play area
The landowner is sorting this issue and arranging to have the trees cut back.
c) To discuss and take any necessary action regarding regular and annual play area
inspections
Proposed Cllr Ms Keetley, seconded Cllr Firth and agreed by all to request Playsafety
undertake the annual playarea safety inspection.
Proposed Cllr Cutter, seconded Cllr Firth and agreed by all to pay for a Councillor to
undertake the playarea safety inspection to enable them to undertake the monthly checks.
25/06/29 To discuss and take any necessary action to agree a date for August 2025 and
September 2025 full council meeting
Proposed Cllr Frith, seconded Cllr Cutter and agreed by all to change the following
meeting dates:-
August 2025 meeting – 11th August 2025
September 2025 meeting – 8th September 2025
